1. Legal Status & Scope of Facilitation

Gradvol (gradvol.com) is an independent educational counseling, academic guidance, and technological discovery platform.

  • Not a Degree-Granting Body: Gradvol is not a University, an Institute of National Importance, a Deemed-to-be-University, or a degree-granting entity under Section 2(f) or Section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956.
  • No Franchisee / Study Centre Arrangement: Gradvol does not operate as an offline study center, examination center, or franchisee campus for any higher education institution. In strict accordance with UGC and Distance Education Bureau (DEB) public advisories, degrees, diplomas, and credit assessments cannot be franchised, sub-contracted, or outsourced to private intermediaries.
  • Advisory Role: Our scope of service is strictly limited to career counseling, comparative analysis of universities, eligibility assessment, documentation pre-screening, and assisting prospective learners with authorized university application procedures.

2. University Entitlements & Accreditation

All undergraduate degrees (e.g., BCA, BBA, B.Com), postgraduate degrees (e.g., MCA, MBA, M.Com), and academic credentials presented across this platform are conferred, administered, and awarded directly by respective partner universities.

  • Statutory Recognition: Partner institutions represented on this platform maintain independent status recognized by statutory regulators, including entitlement from the Distance Education Bureau (UGC-DEB) and approvals or equivalence from bodies such as the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) where applicable.
  • Institutional Ownership: Accreditation marks, NAAC grading bands (e.g., A+, A++), NIRF rankings, and institutional trade names displayed on this platform belong entirely to their respective universities. The display of university metrics is strictly informational, intended to help students cross-verify institutional credentials.

3. Admission Decisions, Academic Delivery & Evaluations

Gradvol does not control or influence institutional enrollment outcomes:

  • No Guarantee of Admission: Evaluation of candidate eligibility and final admission confirmation remain the exclusive legal prerogative of the respective university registrar and admissions directorate.
  • Course Delivery & Examinations: Academic lectures (live and recorded), Learning Management System (LMS) access, coursework evaluations, and proctored semester examinations are conducted directly by the university or its authorized learning infrastructure.
  • Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) & DEB-ID: All admitted learners are registered under the official National Academic Depository (NAD) / ABC ID and UGC-DEB learner registration protocols as mandated by statutory guidelines.

4. Fee Payments & Refund Protocols

  • Direct Remittance: Gradvol does not collect university tuition fees, semester registration charges, or examination fees into its own bank accounts.
  • Official Portals: All course fees are remitted directly through the respective university’s official, secure payment gateway or via recognized financial partners offering zero-cost semester EMI plans.
  • Refund Rules: All cancellations, seat withdrawals, and fee refund timelines are governed exclusively by the statutory refund policy mandated by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the respective university’s governing council. Gradvol processes no refunds and accepts no fiscal liability for disputes arising from university fee adjustments.

5. Equivalence & Career Outcomes

While statutory notifications establish that UGC-DEB-entitled degrees acquired via online or distance modes hold parity with on-campus qualifications for employment and competitive examinations (including UPSC, SSC, Banking, and State PSCs):

  • Gradvol makes no guarantees of employment, public recruitment appointment, promotion, or placement.
  • State recruitment boards or specific technical posts may enforce independent eligibility orders, syllabus matches, or require an Equivalency/Eligibility Certificate issued by a state university. Prospective candidates are advised to verify regional public notifications before applying.

6. Information Accuracy & Intellectual Property

Course syllabi, semester fees, credit structures, and university guidelines are compiled from publicly available university circulars and official prospectuses. While Gradvol exercises due diligence to maintain accurate data, university regulations and fee schedules are subject to revision by academic councils without prior notice.

Third-party university names, emblems, and service marks mentioned on this platform are used solely under nominative fair use for descriptive, comparative, and educational discovery purposes.
