1. Introduction & Acceptance of Agreement
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Agreement”) constitute a legally binding electronic agreement between the user, visitor, or prospective applicant (“User”, “Student”, “You”) and Gradvol (“Platform”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) governing access to, browsing of, and interactions across gradvol.com and its associated digital touchpoints (including mobile web portals, forms, and official communication channels).
By accessing the Platform, browsing course listings, or submitting an inquiry via our forms or WhatsApp endpoints, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue using our services immediately.
2. Nature & Strict Scope of Services
Gradvol functions exclusively as an independent higher-education discovery, academic counseling, eligibility pre-screening, and enrollment facilitation platform.
- Non-University Status: Gradvol is not a University, an Institute of National Importance, a Deemed University, an affiliated college, or a degree-awarding authority under the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956.
- No Franchise or Center: Gradvol does not operate as an off-campus center, study center, regional center, or franchise for any educational institution. Degrees cannot be purchased or franchised through this platform.
- Counseling Facilitation: Our services are strictly informational and advisory. We help students evaluate accredited online degrees, understand semester fees, check basic regulatory entitlements, and submit direct applications to recognized partner universities.
3. Admission Decisions, Enrollment & Academic Delivery
- Sole Discretion of Universities: Gradvol does not grant, confirm, or guarantee admission to any academic program. All admissions are subject to document verification, minimum qualifying marks criteria, and final approval by the respective university’s registrar and admissions board.
- Academic Responsibility: The partner university holds exclusive responsibility for:
- Verification of original academic certificates and identity proofs.
- Issuance of Student Enrolment Numbers / PRN.
- Delivery of curriculum, learning materials, and live/recorded online lectures via its Learning Management System (LMS).
- Conduct and grading of remote proctored semester examinations.
- Awarding of grade sheets, official transcripts, and degree certificates.
- No Liability for University Policy Changes: Gradvol accepts no liability for curriculum updates, syllabus modifications, semester schedule shifts, LMS downtime, or changes in university fee structures enacted by university governing bodies.
4. Fee Payments, Subscriptions & Refund Policy
- Direct University Payments: All program tuition fees, semester exam charges, and registration deposits must be remitted directly to the designated partner university’s official payment portal or through authorized institutional zero-cost EMI banking partners.
- Zero Cash / Intermediary Policy: Gradvol will never ask you to transfer university tuition fees into personal bank accounts or cash. Gradvol disclaims any liability for financial transactions conducted outside verified university payment links.
- Refunds & Cancellations: All seat cancellations, admissions withdrawals, and fee refund timelines are governed entirely by the statutory UGC Fee Refund Policy and the specific withdrawal schedule of the admitting university. Gradvol holds no student fee deposits and processes no direct refunds.
5. Equivalence, Employment & Accreditation Disclaimer
- Employment Disclaimers: Gradvol makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee of employment, corporate placement, interview calls, or public sector appointment following the completion of an online degree.
- Equivalence & State PSCs: While statutory notifications establish that UGC-DEB entitled online degrees hold parity with on-campus programs for general civil and corporate employment, public recruiting agencies (such as the Kerala Public Service Commission or UPSC) enforce independent syllabus-matching standards. Where required by state circulars, the responsibility of procuring an Eligibility or Equivalency Certificate from an authorized state university rests solely with the candidate.
- Information Accuracy: Program specifications, NAAC grades, rankings, and regulatory approvals are compiled from public circulars. While we strive to maintain accurate listings, university regulations are subject to administrative revisions.
6. User Obligations & Representation
When submitting documents, forms, or requests through Gradvol, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age (or possess parental consent if a minor).
- All personal contact details, residential addresses, and academic records submitted are true, authentic, and accurate.
- You will not submit forged, fabricated, or altered certificates, marks cards, or identity proofs. The submission of falsified documents constitutes fraud under the Indian Penal Code / Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and will result in immediate disqualification and reporting to educational authorities.
- You will not use the platform or counseling channels for abusive, harassing, unlawful, or disruptive activities.
7. Communication & DND Consent
By submitting your mobile number, email, or contact information on gradvol.com or via our messaging prompts:
- You provide explicit, documented consent under the Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations (TCCCPR) to receive calls, SMS updates, automated WhatsApp messages, and emails from Gradvol advisors regarding your degree inquiries and university updates.
